I’d like to congratulate the Angels on winning the World Series and thank them, most of all. American sport. Great season. Yeah.
Most of all because they ended the damn season. Every year I go through the same crap. Good shows being cancelled for the “American Sport.” My ass, when did we take a vote on this? The American Sport should be fucking football.. or billiards, hell, anything but baseball. Pointless boring crap, overpaid athletes, interruption of good television time.
The rest of the world has it right with football. Hell, they get red cards there, and that’s COOL. I get a strangely homoerotic feeling whenever baseball players/managers get in the umpire’s face to do their bitching. And American football? Sissy hankerchiefs. No thanks. Red card for me, you can take that to the bank.

Get out of my country. How dare you question baseball. It’s as american as homemade apple pie. Football? You’ve got to be kidding me. Maybe if you meant REAL football where pigskin, helmets and 350 lb linemen were involved that’d be one thing. But that sissy sport that they play in europe and call footie kickabout??!? You disgust me.
Baseball is as good as it gets. AMERICAN football (the real football) is a close second.
By the way, footballers in europe are paid just as disgustingly high salaries as baseball players. So shove it!

I *did* say American football first, as evidenced by the “fucking football”, and not in a “oh, that fucking football” kinda way, more like a hey, that’s a good fucking sport right there.
I just happen to like the penalty system of soccer.

It’s filth, and anyone who understands America would think Bacon Pie with Chocolate Filling, Sprinkles and American Cheese is American. Too much? Never!
Don’t tell me to get out of “your” America, the America of enforced standards! I want real America, the America of uncaring capitalist bastards, sports with straight athletes, and too much of everything! If that “too much” includes Friends, CNN, baseball, and apple pie, it’s a small price to pay I say!
And hell! Overpaid athletes is as good as it gets! No more American than that! Just not for baseball, because they’re talentless assclowns.

And with that nonsensical comment, I can again celebrate the near-end of another useless baseball season! Hurray! At least it didn’t preempt as much good TV this year.
