This wiki page on ACPI is handy in learning about the ACPI boot options. That would have saved me a little time, even though it wasn't the issue.

I don't know any way to get a colon other than using shift. (Well, I'm not going to use the Character Map, anyway.)

Shift is in a natural location for your pinkies, and you use it constantly for capital letters. (I hope.) Control is in an inconvenient location and requires shifting your hand to perform any emacs commands.

The only hand movement in vi is for escape, and many people remap it to be closer. (Yes, you can remap control for emacs, too, but that was only part of my reasoning above.)

The wii is an awesome console. They sheer nature of its functionality is what sets it apart from all others. What I hate is to see kids get totally lazy and never do the real thing. Nice article and blog btw.

So now that i've finally broke down and purchased a Wii, I can rightfully comment on some of these games.

I have to agree with your judgement of Wii Play. I was sadly disapointed by the table tennis game. I love table tennis and was hoping for a great simulation, but I will plug in the stand alone table tennis pre-Wii game system I have anyday before playing this piece of flop again.

Tanks! is definitly the shiz. I brought the Wii with me to my friends wedding and the night before and of the wedding the groomsman were playing Tanks! trying to get past level 13. The only downside here was how long it takes you to get back to where you died.

Laser Hockey is lots of fun, but it's very easy to over-exaggerate your movements.

Billiards pisses me off because my girlfriend makes rediculous shit shots and beats me everytime.

Shooting range is ok but the Aliens are a bitch.

I agree with you on the not so good mini games, especially on the Wii pose and find Mii. How fucking stupid is that shit!? Find the sleeping one. Yeah I fell asleep last time i played that one. Fishing sucks. I do like charge, reminds me of racing on Moo Moo farm in Mario Kart 64.

Thanks for the reviews, I will use this as a resoure for future Wii purchases. Can you get some reviews of Tiger Woods up? I am too cheap to rent games.

If Obama is elected President will he be sworn in on an American Bible as all Presidents in the past have been or is our nation going to be forced to change religions to keep him happy. I like being an American Christain and want to stay that way. I really don't care for Hudism or what ever it is to control my life. Where will what is left of our freedom be???
