		<description>&lt;p&gt;They need to be told the truth, definitely.  The truth is pretty scary.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;But they should be discouraged from sex at that age, because most teens aren&#039;t smart enough to know what the hell they&#039;re doing.  Take that phrase any way you like.  Pushing abstinence is good, but the way they approach it sometimes is counterproductive.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;You&#039;re not going to stop a kid from eating candy by telling him it will have negative dental reprocussions.  You have to beat it out of his hands.  When they reach an age where they make sensible health choices on their own, they can do as they like without interference.&lt;/p&gt;
